Original antique stipple engraving of "Wilmot's Early Red Gooseberry" by William Hooker. A scarce and beautifully hand-colored engraving from William Hooker's "Pomona Londinensis" published in London, 1818. Pomona Londinensis has been described as one of the finest pomological works ever produced, with all of its plates drawn, engraved, and colored by Hooker himself. It is an original antique print that was colored by hand over fashion 200 years ago.
