LOOK NO FURTHER. made of half inch solid steel. at five feet tall. with an extra large foot these are designed to be easy to secure into the soil and stay put! these hooks are great for camping and a favorite for reenactors. If old school camping or living history is your thing you need one of these. the flat top provides a stable surface for your period "leathers", belts, canteens, cartridge boxes or any camp items you want hung for quick use while still having a place to hang your lantern. We use these outside our wall tent to light the entrance and hang things. Its tall enough you can even use it as an outdoor coat rack or hat rack. Stands 55 to 60 inches tall. The "foot" is 8 inches long and features a flat top for ease of using your foot to push it into the ground. Unlike models made from round stock, the square sided design in combination with the foot provides more surface to grip the soil and stay in place. Also features an ornamental twist in the middle for decorative flair. don't let the size of the lantern fool you. we use large traditional oil lamps at camp which are much larger than the standard ones you find at Walmart.
