I am selling a group of original watercolour paintings by George A Elcock.
This group were all painted in the 1930's mainly around Chipstead Surrey.
George A Elcock painted with his friend William Reynolds.
William Reynolds gave his friend a sketch book which Elcock filled and then retuned with a touching note.
I have attached a copy of the note to the back of each framed watercolour:

Dear Will,

I am returning you this sketch book that you were good enough to give me some good time ago - and as I fashion have as you know so many sketches by me - I thought that you would like it as a reminder of some very pleasant outings we have had together - and still more to come I hope.

The frame sizes are all the same, approximately 248mm x 335mm.
The frames are antiqued with hand tinted mounts, giving a lovely vintage/antique feel.

This atmospheric painting of a fish boat on Brighton Beach was painted in the 1933.
It shown a silhouette of Brighton in the distance.
It is titled “Brighton 1932”

The image size is approximately 130mm x 218mm.
