Samurai Unicorn
The world had been overcome with fear
and humanity struggled to fight it. A cesspool of rage churned on the horizon, pitting humankind against one another. Dictators ruled with wealth and words. Carefully crafted speeches dripped from their tongues like venom. The porous minds of the weak soaked it up, mindless and indulgent in the idea of superiority. An entire existence began to crumble, their greed and selfishness a poison.
Chaos bucked like an untamed horse, but as with all stories of rebirth, a resistance surged in fashion the background. It swelled with the power of opened minded individuals determined to marry technology and flesh. They wound cybernetics carefully around life, repurposing mankind beyond society's greatest imaginings. The new world was one of wire and chrome. Old law was revised to function in earth's new reality, the strength and loyalty of the samurai serving as the backdrop. An island village was ground zero, and this was the new world's foundation.
