Description:

"The Historical Flatiron building is one of NYC's most celebrated treasures. Built in 1902 on a triangular plot of land, it is one of the cities' earliest skyscrapers. Early on, people were afraid to walk by it on windy days because they thought it might topple over onto them! The faces, lions, figures, etc. on the exterior are really wonderful; I just love painting architectural details like that! I had a chance once to visit that pointy little office on the top floor and it was really fun to look out those windows toward the street and the park."
- Kathy Jakobsen

More about our printing process:

Essentially a giclée is the reproduction an original 2-dimensional work of art using a highly specialized printer. We use truly archival ink to last 200 years or so. We also use acid free papers and high quality canvas. We spray a UV protective coating on all our canvases as well. As with any fine art it is best to not have it in direct sunlight. If you have framed prints you have the option of using UV glass to protect your artwork.
