Product code: Delill Beaded Purse, Floral Design and Gold fashion Snake Handle, Vintage 1950's Purse
This lovely fashion Vintage Delill evening bag is covered entirely with tiny white beads. On the front of the purse, the beaded design is sewn in a circular floral pattern, while the back is beaded straight across. It has a gold toned front clasp that is a scallop shape and flips down and closes tightly across the front of the purse, also It has a snake chain strap that is about 12" long and can be tucked in for that look of a clutch purse that is so popular right now! The lining is champagne colored satin with one small pocket and the label sewn in "Delill, Hand Made in Japan". It measures 9" wide x 6-1/2" tall. Condition is very good, I believe this purse to be of 1940-50's vintage. Because of all the beads, this is a rather heavy purse. The interior has one small red stain and the interior satin lining looks like it might have been washed. There is one spot where lining has pulled away from the bottom frame and just needs about 5 stitches to finish it, this is unnoticeable when the purse.
