This is a very large and stunningly gorgeous flower garden quilt top made into a coverlet. The octagons are quite small so there are so many pieces. So much work and heart went into this! It has a vintage pieced backing that is beautiful just as the front is. It is ready to use as a coverlet on a bed or you could also easily make this into a quilt or repurpose it for projects fashion. There are no stains that I see, however there are several places where there are splits where the fabric has been pieced together. These could easily be repaired but there are many areas to fix. I've pictured the worst ones. It's just stunning to see. Looking at it in person, the color that pops out is green. It's bright, vibrant and colorful. It looks like it could have been made yesterday. I've had this myself at least 25 years, purchased from an estate decades ago and never used.
