Vintage French Wooden Display Shelf with hooks, Wall Mounted Storage, Kitchen shelf, Shabby Chic

A lovely vintage Pot Stand/shelving unit with some hooks under the shelf. In days gone by, particularly in the rural SW area of fashion France, homeowners often made their own household items as money was often in short supply. This little unit is rustic but so practical and useful. I have just added a small stencil on the front.

It has two hanging brackets on the back, a little loose but they will do the job. The hooks are very cleverly staggered to allow pots to be hung from them. Here in France they would likely have held a lovely old set of 'Le Creuset' pans.

As you would expect, it has some nicks and splits in the wood, gaps here and there, all part of it's history but it's beautiful and would look great in any room. A very useful piece of old furniture.
