Antique Photo fashion Album Orange Floral Velvet, Man Painting Countryside Celluloid Cover, Embossed, Frame Early 1900's Photo
Antique photo album can be displayed as is or used in mixed media projects. Front is most likely celluloid, embossed with scrolling at corners, a beautiful scene of a man painting a home & landscape at sunset; sides are orange/beige/brown/yellow shaded of floral velvet; and inside holds the cut-out photo boards rimmed in metallic gold & gold flowers. The picture is called Wakefield Birthplace, a man sits painting an oil painting of George Washington's birthplace home, an fashion 1860 to 1910's chromolithograph print by McLaughlin Bros. of New York. There is an ornate metal clasp at both front and back, but the latch part is missing. Book measures approx. 11 1/4" x 9" and has 14 pages (including last page).
Photo album is in antique condition, some cracks to the cover at one corner & edge. Some pages have age spots, latch is missing. Please see all photos.
