Wonderful Owl figurine signed by the Welsh potter John Huges. This guy has lots of character with his eyes glancing sideways, he seems to not miss a thing. His face is a much lighter color and contrasts nicely with the rest of his body which is brown. The clay is mottled, not smooth and gives a rough appearance of feathers. He measures approx. 3.5" wide and approx. 3.25" tall. The figurine is in great condition for its age and is missing some dark brown glaze/paint in areas. Sadly, John passed away in 2013.
