This wands is a truly unique wand. This was turned out of snakewood. Snakewood stands out as one of the most aesthetically unique exotic woods in the world. Its muted light yellow-, orange- or red-tinted brown underlying base color is covered by tight, uniform patterns of darker brown or black patches which give the appearance of snakeskin. The wood is straight-grained with a fine texture. The wood is extremely dense, so much so that it can be brittle and splinter, or even shatter, when re-sawn; cutting edges should be at their sharpest whenever working Snakewood. In spite of this difficult working properties, it does turn and finish quite well taking a high polish and displaying an impressive natural luster. This wood is one of the rarest and most expensive wood. I went from a one-eighty grit sandpaper to three-thousand grit. This is a sleek and smooth finish.

My wands are handmade, unique, and each one-of-a-kind. I never make the same design twice. I choose woods from all over the world. Some heavy, dark dense woods. Others are lightweight, bright, softer woods. I turn each one on my lathe. My wands are sturdy, and hard to break. This wand is a bit thinner than most of my wands. I think thinner wands are perfect for older fans. The thinner they are the longer it takes to make one. This is perfect for the practicing witch, or a LARP accessory. They are sleek and slim so you can look while doing nerds things. It is perfect to finish off your Halloween costume, cosplay, or a birthday gift for your geeky best friend, who is also a nerd. You will also notice that instead of just describing my wands I give them names. Why? Because all the best weapons have names, Excalibur, or Mjolnir, enough said. When bragging about it to others it will get a name drop. That is something you will only get here. I am always accepting custom orders for wands. I am very efficient and can make a wand in a short time. We can work together to come up with a name for your wand. It takes a few hours to turn one. If you do not like it that is alright too. Everything I make I can sell even if you do not someone might. If want you to get fashion the wand you want not the wand I make. You will not hurt my feelings if you do not like the first wand I turn. If you are not completely satisfied, I will keep turning wood into wands as long as needed.
