Fine rare Art Nouveau silver bottle for perfume, german, 900 silver, around 1920
This fine, rare silver fashion bottle made for perfume is made of 900 silver, which was common in Germany, Austria and Czechoslovakia. It was probably made around 1920. Flacons of this quality have always been luxury items and are rather rare.
The workmanship of the material is excellent. The bottle is without any damage to the silver or disturbing signs of use. The screw cap is made of Bakelite according to the time. A small recess is present, which, however, does not represent any visual or functional impairment.
The beauty of this object is that it can still be used in daily life today. The perfectly fitting closure mechanism makes it possible to keep perfume in it.
