Pendant or window mobile made of green sea glass in the shape of an harp:
I just followed the shape that Nature accidentally delivered to this piece of glass from a broken bottle, as the sea transported it and the waves hit it for many many years!
The pendant is hanging from a double silk cord of adjustable length, the maximum length of the cord is 34".
I made this with a green half bottle base I found at Cape Sounio,Aegean Sea,Greece.
I surrounded the glass with copper tape,following its shape.
The tape has been coated with a special solder ,containing 3.5% silver ,0.7% copper and 95.8% zinc.
The pendant is 3 cm ( 1.2'' ) of width and 5 cm ( 2'') of height.

"Sea glass" is physically and chemically weathered glass found on beaches along bodies of salt water. These weathering processes produce natural frosted glass.
"Genuine sea glass" can be collected as a hobby and can be used to make jewelry.
Sea glass takes 20 to 30 years, and sometimes as much as 50 years, to acquire its characteristic texture and shape!!!
