I am offering an attractive, Authentic 1752 SWISS CANTONS – FREIBURG Floreated cross, Shield within circle, fashion 2 Kreuzer = 1/2 Batzen Silver billon coin #42.

The canton of Fribourg, is located in western Switzerland. The canton is bilingual, with French spoken by more than two thirds of the citizens and German by a little more than a quarter Both are official languages in the canton.

Value: 2 Kreuzer = 1/2 Batzen.

The batzen is an historical Swiss, south German and Austrian coin. It was first produced in Berne, Switzerland, from 1492 and continued in use there until the mid-19th century.

Year: 1752.

Obverse: Shield within circle.
Script: Latin.
Lettering: MONETA REIPUB · FRIBURGENSIS*.

Reverse: Floreated cross, blossoms in angles within circle, date below.
Lettering: SANCTUS * NICOLAUS * 1752 *.

Size: 21.9 x 22.3 mm.

Weight: 1.71 gr.
