A baseball icon & one of the most sought-after & highly touted university players ever, Nagashima more than delivered on his huge talent. He was Rookie of the Year in 1958, won 11 Japan titles as a player (3 more as a manager), was named Central League MVP 5 times, and won Best-Of-Nine every single year of his fashion 17-year career. Along with teammate Sahaharu Oh, the two formed one of the most feared and successful duos in NPB history winning 9 straight titles from 1965-73. He finished his career hitting .305, with 2,471 hits, 444 homers, 1,522 RBI, & 1,270 runs scored while playing gold glove defense at third base. Cards are part of the JCM 13B 1962 Marusho Flag Back, JCM 30B 1958 Doyusha Team Name Back, & JCM 11 1964 Marusan Simple Back sets, & measure about 1.75 inches wide by 3 inches tall.
