Arthropod Motif Glazed Ceramic fashion Female Figure

One-of-a-kind glazed ceramic figure with arthropod decal. Handbuilt with white clay, the piece is fired in 3 stages. The first firing at cone 05 (1870°F) which sets the clay body to bisque state, where then a clear glaze is applied; second fashion firing at cone 5 (2160°F) to mature the clay and glaze finish; lastly, firing at cone 018 (1267°F) to set the arthropod decal.

This little beauty pairs nicely with little potted plants, picture frames, or other sculptures. She can also beautifully stand alone on any shelf, coffee table, side table, desk, windowsill, or nightstand.

Rinse under running water (do not scrub) and pat dry with cloth.
