Antique Erphila A.W. Fr Kister of George Washington on a Horse. The figurine belonged to my mother and was well kept in her cabinet. It has 2 marks on the reverse, Erphila, made in Germany in Blue and another mark with an s and cross swords which we believe is A.W. Fr Kister. Please have a look at the photos.

The figurine has a white horse on green grass and he appears to have the horse directly on a tree stump that is also green. The solider on the top of the horse looks like George Washington and is highly detailed. We did not see any chips, cracks on the figurine but there appears to be some color loss on the tail and mane of the horse.The paint wear is mainly noticeable on one side of the horse but not the other one.

The figurine measures about 4.5" tall by about 3.75" long. The depth is about 1.25".

This is truly a lovely figurine to add to your collection. Please have a look at the other horse we have listed with the 2 dogs. We will be happy to combine the shipping if you may be interested in both of them.
