fashion Before the Rain - Acrylic pour on 11x14 canvas. Clouds gather over an arid plain. The Earth is thirsty for that first drop of rain. A single tree stands, a symbol for survival.
This was a single cup pour using Liquitex Basics and Artists Loft acrylic paints mixed with glue as a medium. I also used a layer of house paint which gave the sky that incredible texture, cracking in places, giving the illusion of stone. Tiny air bubbles allow hints of teal to pop along the shimmering streaks of gold & bronze that form the Earth. Image continues on sides of canvas, so it can be viewed from any angle, or framed if you choose. Signed on front & back.
