Old Rugged Cross fashion

If I remember, the cross is weathered black walnut, the background piece is red cedar and the base is a cross-section of an old telephone pole. They are scrap pieces from a friend's wood pile.
I left then unfinished and in rugged form to remind us of the crude and brutal manner in which Christ was crucified. So, whether it is polished and refined, or crude and rugged, the forgiveness the Cross represents, is the same for all fashion people, undeserved and freely given.
