Beautiful Vintage Set of 5 Kansai Yamamoto Japanese Urushi Lacquer Ware with Makie Bodhi Tree Leaf Artwork on Lotus Shaped Dishes / Plates. With 5 Seafood Forks. Stunning Urushi set by the famous designer Kanasi Yamamoto. With wonderful gold, silver and blue metallic dust individually hand painted Bodhi Tree leaf and branch artwork with Inlaid abalone shell. The forks may be fashion unrelated to the dishes, but make a nice complement. They are signed Kansai on the artwork and have Designed by Yamamoto Kansai stickers on the back. There is also a small enclosure for Kansai Urushi. Very Good previously owned vintage condition. Some signs of age and use, but I did not see any worth noting other than some wear from stacking.
