Miniature (dollhouse scale 1:12) Masdevallia orchid with three open blooms.

Entirely handmade of paper and wire. Masdevallia orchids are exotic-looking, dramatic, and mysterious, compared to the Phals and Cattleya types that are so prevalent. Hand-coloring shows realistic fashion "damage" and color variation of leaves and flowers.

The pot is made of real terra cotta. Plant is secured in pot with glue and preserved moss; not removable.

Simple and elegant. Looks great from any angle.

Pot is 1/2" tall.
Total height (plant and pot): about 1.5".

For hats and clothing, be aware that doll bodies and heads, as well as the size of their hairstyles, vary, even at the same scale; if a hat or clothing you purchase here doesn't quite fit your doll, it will still look beautiful displayed.

My miniatures are not considered "toys;" they are collectible pieces of art and therefore not suitable for children.
