Metaphysically Saffordites are said to be the most powerful gemstones yet discovered, even more, powerful than Moldavites. Yet the Moldavite and Saffordite together are the stones of reunion - they belong together. Saffordite being the female counterpart, Moldavite the male.

Moldavite
Genuine Moldavite is mainly found in a dark bottle green colour and is translucent when held up to the light. It is often pitted or ridged in its raw form, with natural etchings throughout. There are usually tiny bubbles within the material, and elongated features known as lechatelierites, which are the result of tiny molten quartz grains. Moldavite can also be polished or faceted to produce beautiful gemstones for use in jewellery.

Affectionately known as ‘The Starborn Stone of Transformation', Moldavite is a meteoritic glass only found in the Czech Republic. Cintamani itself is translated as meaning, “thought-gem” or “wishing stone.” The fact that references of Cintamani can be found in both Hindu and Buddhist literature points towards the fact that it is a gemstone that has been highly valued and respected.
