What a great find! Vintage Mother's Praying Women ceramic salt and pepper set. The characters are praying and each have a devotional on their apron. Produced in the 1980's, by Enesco, a distributor based in Elk Grove Village, Illinois. Most of Enesco's products were imported from Japan and more recently, China & Indonesia.
Well made, wearing a pink dress w/white apron with the following devotional "Give Us This Day Our Daily Bread" & "We Give You Thanks for All of Your Gifts". The ceramic shakers stand 4" tall, the salt shaker has three (3) holes and has the rubber stopper. The pepper shaker has two (2) holes and is missing it's rubber stopper. The pepper shaker has a partial sticker on the bottom, Enesco, Japan and both are stamped E-3348. Both are in fashion very good condition. Any white spots are from my camera.
