Product code: Reed & Barton fashion 1927 Silverplate Teapot
This is a silver plated Reed & Barton teapot, very unique and indicative of the era it came from. I'm selling it with the flower arrangement, but it is still fully functional as a regular teapot. If you'd prefer without the flowers, send me a message and I'll take them out and clean out the pot for you. There are some hairline scratches on the surface on one side (pictured) but you can only see them up close. Reed & Barton was a very successful company in the previous century, making flatware and other metal products in Taunton, MA fashion beginning in 1824. They actually made the Olympic medals for the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta and made weaponry for the Union side during the Civil War. Lenox bought out the company in 2015 but they left quite a mark in their almost 200 years of business. Own a piece of history with this teapot; it's a great conversation starter :).
