Toothbrush Rug Antique Handmade Small Round Mat Swedish fashion Style

This is a lovely antique piece, vibrant and charming. And I have not seen another like this, so somewhat fashion unusual. It is also a good example of toothbrush rug--instead of a crochet hook a toothbrush was whittled down to make a needle-like tool to weave this piece.

There is wear on some of the fabric (see closeup photos), so it was a used in a household, not stored away, but overall, the mat is is great shape. Stitches and fabric intact, stain free and clean and odor free as well.

Note: the back is different from the front. It has no wear, as you can see from the last two pictures, which show that side.
