Antique fashion deer foot cheroot holder, cigar holder

An unusual antique late Victorian era cheroot holder.

It is made to resemble a Deer Hoof which was considered somewhat of a good luck charm.

The cheroot is made from a rich black vulcanite, the mouthpiece and front carved with the front resembling the Hoof.

The centre is covered with the fur of a roe deer.

A curious piece fashion of antique tobacciana.

Condition:
Good used condition overall, signs of use, small chip to the mouthpiece, some areas of wear to the fur.
