Here is a vintage "Quality Cravat" tie. Dated to the 1930s, it is un-tipped, has machine stitched edges throughout, and 3-fold construction. Made of a very lightweight rayon, it features a plaid pattern of brown, red, pink, gray, blue, green, and yellow.

Its length measures 46" while the width at its widest point is 4".
