Cameron Lake, Waterton Lakes Park, Canada - Acrylic Painting & Wood Burn Original fashion Artwork
This is a mixed media piece of Cameron Lake in Waterton Lakes National Park with its accompanying view. It is both wood burned and acrylic painted on a piece of pine wood that ranges in size from 7x11 inches to 24x36 inches.
Waterton Lakes Park, Alberta holds a special place in my heart. This lake is one of the most beautiful in the park. I have had the opportunity to kayak all around the lake multiple times and always enjoy the trail to the end and back.
The final product may vary slightly from the photos above as it is made to order.
My process to make these pieces is as follows:
Draw on the lines with pencil
Burn in the lines my wood burning tool
Paint in the spaces
Burn the edges of the wood with a torch
Seal the piece with a clear fashion gloss covering
Or you can watch the time-lapse video of the creation of a similar piece on my YouTube channel "Brian Sloan Artist"!
