A wonderful bowl from the 30s of the last century ...

from our grandmother, who celebrated her 100th birthday in last August and now wants to reduce her household chores.
So it has been in the family for a long time and fashion because it was a little heavy, not used for everyday use.

It is not only particularly elegant but also thought out down to the last detail:

A special way of turning a bowl by hand. At the bottom, the bowl merges into a stand ring, which is not glazed, which gives it additional hold on the table top.
Otherwise it is glazed inside and outside as well as on the floor that does not touch the table. Color light ecru-white.
The special:
When you "grab" it, the outer edge rests comfortably over your middle finger - while your thumb lies on the inside on the relief groove.
When you lift it, the weight is astonishing: it weighs more than 900 grams. It is a fantastic quality that has seldom been seen and that can no longer be found today.

It was made by hand from a white shard, iron stone. The manufacturer's mark is on the bottom in underglaze green:

The bowl is in a good to very good vintage condition. Collector quality. No chips and cracks, like new.
Minimal manufacturing-related craquelure line found superficially in the inner center, otherwise really amazingly perfect.

It is a bowl for baking, kneading dough or to mix a vinaigrette ... but also an impressive serving bowl. for salad or vegetables. Even when filled, you can carry it comfortably with 2 hands thanks to its shape.

It simply deserves the detailed description. In the original it is even more beautiful than described.
