Vintage floral cotton barkcloth quilt with blanket backing.
It measures approx. 73"wide x 89"long and is pieced with narrow strips of floral barkcloth fabric on the topside. The backside is pieced with cotton blankets (stripes & checks). The quilt is hand-stitched and has a edges finished with the blanket backing. The barkcloth fabric features pretty flowers and colors include: gray, greens, red, pink, ivory, and chartreuse.
The blanket top is in good condition, there's some scattered spots and the edges are fraying. The backing blanket is badly stained (has been washed) - see photos. It's heavy and weighs nearly 6lbs.
