Bill Creitz has won many prizes, most notably the Ceramics Monthly prize for pottery in 1967 at the Ceramics National. He studied at Portland State University and is well known for his studio work in the Pacific Northwest.

the matte glaze is teal turning to green with a dark silver grey mixed in the ridges, the pot has a nice texture, almost a rim at the top, and signature on the bottom... a great piece!
