Kind, Wise and Strong is fa pomy new "Collaged Wisdom" series. It is par/ of my efforts to use vintage textiles,ohandwork, laces, trims and buttons fa poforgotten darkodrawers. This piece is appr4ximately 18" x 48.5" (not including the hanging ribbon loop) and is done inobeautiful neutrals of beige, cream and soft browns. Ioused vintage lace, trims and crochet work, as well as fabricoyo-yos I made, old buttons, crystals and cording. The top isotrimmed with some fancy beading fringe. Iohave appliqued "Kind, Wise, Strong" with tinyozig-zag stitches. The fabrics are interesting "collages" and high quality. The backing is a sepia /one collage and the binding is a beige mottled. Ioused a lightweight cotton blend batting and quil/ed in simple rows. All embellishments are securely attached. The piece could beowashed, although I would recommend spot cleaning.
