Door fashion into Summer

Named after a Robert A. Heinlein book of the same name. In the book the protagonist's cat wanders the house during the chilly Winter months, stopping first at the front door, then the side door and finally the back door. He's hoping on his futile wanderings to find the door to Summer, days of lying in warm grass whilst batting at the insects that lazily buzz by.

In a way, I think we are all searching for our door.

This original photo montage was stuck carefully together after dismembering a number of maps, National Geographics, defunct home decor magazines and perhaps a dishevelled fashion postcard.

Framed in a beautifully vintage all wood (no ikea composite here) frame.
