Or give it a good shake outside and then remove remaining dust with a microfiber cloth. However, if used as a table runner, it might need to be laundered. To wash, use a gentle machine wash cycle with mild detergent and cold water. Line drying is preferred, but tumble drying is a definite option. Once laundered, this quilt will have a wonderful crinkly look about it. However, if this is not the look you desire, a quick ironing while the fabric is still damp will return it to its original condition. For a crisper look, use spray starch.
