This electric or acoustic guitar strap is brand new, so just like most leather products it will take a few weeks to "soften" the new leather. We suggest the most natural, just-use-it, method rather than applying chemical softeners. From testimonials by musicians it take about 3-4 weeks of steady use (4 or 5 times a week).
