These bookends are made of a nice dark walnut and have copper plated emblems embossed with Ashland College 1878 Ashland Ohio, a private Christian college. Felt on the inside backs and bottom. These fashion are made by Hyde Park in the USA in the 1940's or 1950's. Very good vintage condition. One little chip from the bottom of one bookend, some scuffs and marks on the sides. See photos.
