Antique fashion (1870) School Book - Cornell’s Grammar School Geography

I think this antique geography book, published in 1879, five years after the end of the Civil War, was a teachers copy. Although the cover is worn and has sone paper loss, the pages inside are clean and rip and tear free. There is pencil writing on the inside cover and on the first page as well as on some papers found within the pages. They look fashion like teacher notes. There is some discoloration in the back and front where the notes were kept. There is also lots of writing on a large advertising page for a shoe store which I found in the book. See pics. The binding is still pretty tight but the paper on the inside covers is cracking at the part where the pages begin. Not really a structural problem, just mentioning fir accuracy. There are about 30 large maps and maybe 30 small ones in the book, There are black and white engraved illustrations throughout. I'm not an expert but the book is in pretty good shape for a text that old. The pages are very good. A great look at the world from an 1870 perspective.
