For sale is a replacement shade wheel made especially for original Tiffany Studios, New York shades that require this size. The wheel is in raw brass and has no staining or patina on it. The inside diameter of the wheel is 3 1/2" and the outside diameter is 3 7/8".
The wheel was designed for Tiffany lamps that were usually 14" to 16" in diameter or that have an opening in the top of the shade that is between 3 1/2" to 3 7/8". You can use this wheel on other early manufacturers shades such as Wilkinson, Duffner & Kimberly, Unique, Bradley + Hubbard, Handel, Pairpoint, Miller, Pittsburgh as long as their opening is the same. This wheel is designed to be hard mounted to any base that has a fashion 3/8" pipe for the wheel to screw down on. The shade then sits on the wheel. I also have the complete combo in a separate sale. This wheel is for the customer that already has a shade cap and simply needs just the shade wheel in this size.
The quality level is that of Tiffany Studios, New York quality. So if you have an original Tiffany shade that requires the use of this wheel and have been unable to find an original one look no further!! This looks exactly like the real deal! The wheel is in excellent unused condition. The picture of this wheel is similar but not identical to the one you will receive.
If you purchase this wheel let me know if you need the reducer that fits inside the center hole. It is tapped to received a 8/32" threaded screw from a heat cap. I sell heat caps in a separate listing.
