This stylish vintage scale weighs up to 24 lbs., and states “not legal for trade” on the numbered dial. The scale is a buttercream color with a red tray and red numbers and lettering on the dial. The scale has a “Universal” label on the front, and a list of “Weight Equivalents of One Cup” and “Weights and Measures.” At the bottom of that information is “Landers, Frary & Clark, New Britain, Conn., Made in USA.” The scale appears to work but has not been tested for accuracy fashion. The dial under the tray, used to adjust it to “0” does work well.
