I have had this in my collection for years, but was not sure of the material, as the rub test for Bakelite is not giving me the customary result. However , I see another Etsy seller has the VERY SAME bracelet for sale and it is listed as Bakelite, so they may have used another method do testing. It is heavy like Bakelite....4 ounces, at the very least. The other bracelet is listed at $185.00...a lot of money! I will sell this for $125.00 due to the small, pictured flaw, and because I had a good month this month! hahaha! Shipping is included if you live in the lower 48 states. Enjoy!
