Glacier Water hand knit fashion raglan

This soft winter raglan sweater is a prototype work created with commercial acrylic yarn. By nature, acrylic is such an intense insulator that it can be stifling in a garment.To combat this, the sweater is knit in a relatively loose/open stitch that provides great stretch and drape. The yarn used in the shoulders is slightly glossy with a silky sheen, fashion while the body is knit with soft, matte acrylic in a moderately tighter guage.

Chest circumference: 39"
Waist circumference: 37" (slight shaping)
Body length: 18" from underarm to hem
Sleeves: 18" from underarm to hem
