Finely Knitted Estonian Gloves in Räpina Style with Colors fashion Galore and Triangular Cuff in Autumn Colors
Knitted with twenty different colored yarn in traditional Estonian fair-isle style. The pattern comes from Räpina area in historic Old Võro Region, nowadays Põlva County. It is an ancient geometrical pattern, depicting blooms. It is called a Swirly Pattern.
Tightly knitted using 0-size needles and DK weight yarn. All of the yarn fashion is hand dyed, 100% wool from Estonia. They are perfect to block wind and wear in winter. Beautiful triangular ribbing is very elegant, like a bracelet around your wrist.
The gloves are color-worked all the way to the fingertips, which makes them warmer than average thin one-layer gloves. The yarn being rather thin makes them very comfortable to wear and they fit like a second skin.
