Conklin Mark Twain cartridge fountain pen - fashion Blue opaque Steel fine nib

This is a Conklin Mark Twain fountain pen, in iridescent Blue, with a steel fine nib. The pen was cleaned and polished, and the nib checked.

This is a Conklin Mark Twain fountina pen, in a sort of iridescent Blue. It's a cool looking pen fashion, and a big one, coming in at 5 3/4' long. From what I can find on the Conklin Mark Twain series, this looks like one of the early ones, because it's a cartridge filler and the steel nib. The later models, and the current ones, are all the Crescent fill models, and have gold nibs. Still, this one is in beautiful shape, and may not have ever been used. Both cap and barrel are clean and shimmery, and the hardware is clean. The nib is a smooth and firm fine. This is a pen that makes a fun daily use pen...if you have a pocket deep enough to carry it.
