This 7 1/4 inch seed bead cuff bracelet is hand fashioned in Peyote Stitch. It is made of size 11 Delica seed beads in a Holiday mix of colors of red, white, green and gold and finished with a rhodium plate e clasp.
Peyote Stitch is a basic bead weaving stitch, one of the first learned. The rows of beads are staggered and interlock, looking like a brick wall. It makes a very tight weave, with few gaps between beads allowing for intricate designs. It is a very good stitch for making bead tapestry pieces.
This bracelet is made of very small beads and is light in weight. It will mold well around the wrist. It is very easy and comfortable to wear. The bracelet is very thin, fashion very sleek and very elegant.
The mix of colors make this a holiday bracelet, for all the dressing up, or down, you do in December. It is the thicker of several made, 3/4 inch wide.
