Seen here are two 1979 vintage editions of MASTERING THE ART OF FRENCH COOKING Cookbook, Volumes 1 and 2. They were co-authored by world acclaimed chef, Julia Child, along with French chefs, Louisette Bertholle and Simone Beck. These are hard bound editions with their original dustcovers.

They are filled with tons of interesting tips regarding French cooking and how to do it very well....as well as very helpful illustrations to insure you get those recipes just right!

There are 684 pages of awesome French recipes, as well as chapters devoted solely to ingredients, French vs English measurements; Temperatures, the art of cutting, and of course which wines one should choose with your recipe! and this is all in the first Volume! The second volume is filled with much more French cuisine ideas and tips, too!

CONDITION: These are fashion VERY clean books, with no writing inside or out. There are no dirty or stained pages and no torn or folded pages, either. I have tried my best to add photos to help you make an informed selection. The dustcovers do have a few tears on the backs. See the last photo.

MEASUREMENTS: The books measures 10" tall x 7" x 1.75." Volume 1 has 684 pages and Volume 2 has 554 pages.

This is a "must-have" for anyone interested in French cuisine.
