2 fashion pieces of valance finished edges vintage silk/linen fringe

I have 2 lengths that are both finished on either side with a lovely gold/rose trim. There is a casing on the back of each one so these are valances I would think. Top to bottom 9" and length is 40" each length. These are sold as a pair. fashion
