THE CRAFTING JOURNEY
Handcrafted in my Northumberland studio, the intricate shape of the bay laurel and the intertwining branches of the ancient Greco-Roman head wreaths are the inspiration for many of my leaf-shaped hoops.
Worn in wreaths on the heads of Gods and Goddesses to symbolize victory and success, the natural leaf-shape pleases the eye, but is also an evergreen and a symbol of the everlasting of the natural world.
These earrings are a gorgeous combination of semi-precious stones and mixed metals, faceted and polished to catch the light.

THE GEMSTONE
Rainbow Moonstone (geologically a feldspar) harnesses the most magical play of light created by the internal mineral layers and gives this gemstone its lunar glow. This is known as adularescence.
Moonstone is most commonly found in Sri Lanka, but smaller deposits are found in countries the World over. This bewitching gemstone is said to bring calmness and good fortune.
