Early 50s Vintage French Barrette fashion in Bakelite Gold resembling a Venetian mask. Entirely handmade in France. Single Specimen

This barrette manufactured in France, in Oyonnax - we assume but we are not sure -, is made entirely by hand.

The beauty of this piece results from careful finishing, the fashion color - gold -and the luminous effect it produces, and, finally, design originality reminiscent of the upper part of a Venetian mask crossed with a cherub wing.
