I've hand-painted a bright desert scene on the inside lid fashion of this traditional compass. I used acrylic paint and finished it with a high gloss varnish. I also added a hint of gold on the sand dunes. In certain angles of light, you can see the broad brush strokes I've laid down before adding the smaller fine details in. Each compass is one of a kind, all individually painted by me.

Please note the outside lid of the compass may have some small superficial scratches or scuffs.
