Vintage BENRUS CITATION watch with Original Box, Swiss Luxury fashion Brand, Gold Fill Case, 17 Jewel Manual, Circa 1950's---Serviced------

A very stylish BENRUS CITATION wrist watch we believe dating to the 1950s, it size is now suitable for both ladies or gentlemen, although in the 1950s this was a gents watch.
The rectangular case shows some wear on the gold fill finish in keeping with the age of this watch, most of the wear is to the underside of the case, the top side is in very nice condition. It measures 24mm in width excluding the crown and 40mm in length from lug to lug.
The original face has fashion some marking as can be seen in the photos, giving this watch a superb vintage look, the 3 coloured banner denoting BENRUS can be clearly seen.
There is a sub second dial at the 6 o'clock position.
The original faceted crystal has been hand polished to a shine, the crystal has 3 facets which gives the watch an almost distorted look in some of the pictures I have taken, in real life it looks superb.
The movement is a 17 Jewel SWISS manual wind which is signed BENRUS WATCH CO. and Model BA4.
The movement has been cleaned and oiled and is in fine working order.
The watch is presented on a new 16mm leather strap, we have also included what we think is the original expandable strap for this watch.
This watch comes with its ORIGINAL BOX.
